About the Board

The Dental Board of Western Australia was established by the Dental Act 1939.

The Board is the statutory regulatory body of Western Australia responsible to the Minister for Health for the administration of the Act.

The Board consists of 7 members, appointed by the Governor of whom 5 shall be dental practitioners.

 

Tenure of the Board

A member of the Board shall hold office for such period not exceeding 3 years as may be specified in his or her instrument of appointment but shall be eligible for re-appointment.
